dot SAGA Mobile App

This Privacy Policy explains how the dot SAGA mobile application (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information. This policy covers the App only and does not cover separate hardware devices.


Information We Collect (App only)

Depending on your settings and how you use the App, we may collect:

Account & Contact Information: name, email, role, organization / group.

Authentication & Identifiers: user ID, device ID, push notification token.

User Content: messages, task updates, and PTT audio and its transcripts (if you use voice features).

Location Data (if enabled): approximate or precise location to support safety, dispatch, and operational features.

Usage & Analytics: feature interactions, session duration, in-app events (aggregated where possible).

Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, and device attributes (OS version, model) to improve stability.

Permissions (as requested by the App): Microphone (PTT), Notifications, Location, Bluetooth (if connecting to local devices), Camera/Photos (only if you choose to upload media).

We do not intentionally collect financial information or unrelated sensitive categories.


How We Use Information

Provide core functionality: team communications, alerts, dispatch, task management, and safety features.

Notifications & responses: deliver and confirm alerts, acknowledgements, and status changes.

Reliability & support: troubleshoot, detect crashes, and improve performance.

Security & integrity: prevent abuse, protect users and operations.

Analytics (optional): understand feature adoption and improve UX (aggregated where feasible).

We do not use your data for third-party advertising or for tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites.


 Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share:

Service Providers / Processors: trusted vendors that host, process, or analyze data under contract (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications).

Your Organization / Group Admins: limited operational data (e.g., alerts, status, transcripts) visible to authorized admins and responders in your organization.
